This installation is a typical residential installation for large holiday homes with heating, hot water and pool heating all coming from on-site HONE systems all year round. In this location in the Italian Riviera, some backup is needed in the depths of winter and this is provided by a wood burning stove.
HONE is the primary energy system of all the buildings energy footprint. This HONE system is designed to put all its energy into the building in winter at low temperature as an alternative to previous oil fired heating. The home is typical empty during the winter.
