The HONE Thermal\/Electric panel science is a combination of both products. HONE is a breakthrough thermal product that uses advanced nanotechnology to harvest daylight instead of sunlight<\/strong>. HONE renewable electric technology uses a proprietary pyramidic structure semiconductor which increases the surface area by 350% per sqm. This makes the panel multi-directional, and no requirement to face south or be placed at an ideal angle. HONE Electric technology is designed to maximise the performance of buildings and operate with high kWh outputs in winter & poor weather, unlike standard solar PV, which delivers most of its energy in the summer months.<\/p>\n

Using a special 3-Dimensional semiconductor, HONE panels harvest diffused daylight<\/strong> instead of sunlight and outperform standard Solar PV\u00a0 in cloudy and poor weather conditions. Over a year, HONE electric panels in multi-year studies outperform the “best” Solar PV by 16% per year & by up to 250% per KW(p) installed in winter & cloudy\/rainy weather. HONE electric panels outperform low-cost Solar PV by over 50% per year. In Ireland, HONE Electric systems deliver between 950 kWh\/KW(p) per year in the West of Ireland up to 1,150 kWh\/KW(p) in Wexford.
