You can use this technology in any building, of any age, and of any size. It can be a residential home, a nursing home, a hotel, a prison, or, in fact, any building that needs heating and hot water.

Q. Are there any limitations on the heat source I can use for hybrid or backup?

There are no limitations; you can use all the existing heat sources, including electric boilers and if your residential or commercial project is using a heat pump, the size of it can be scaled back, and of course, the running costs will be significantly reduced also. Of course, you can also have more than one option. For example, if you choose an electric boile, this can work in hybrid mode with the HONE Thermal/Electric panel. This way you get heat from both the thermal output and the electricity output powers the electric boiler.
